That color represents the vital elements that our bodies need to thrive– vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, anthocyanins. You don’t need to know these big words to know that consumption of plants is in your best interest. Regular and sustained veggie intake confers a reduction in LDL, enhanced HDL, a lower heart disease risk, and a drop in the risk of diabetes, among other positive consequences. But for someone who says they either don’t like veggies or they don’t know what to do with them, we have some ideas! It can be as simple as trying a bit of seasoning and preparing them in a different way!
